Welcome

Welcome to my blog! Let me introduce myself. My name is Leslie, but I'm called Mom and Sweetie by the people who matter most. I converted to Catholicism 5 years ago. Growing up, I was raised as a Christian Scientist and then lived my early twenties somewhere between atheism and agnosticism. Being pregnant shortly after getting married, I decided it was time to finally "figure the God-thing out".  When I publish that story, I'll be sure to link it here.

I am a 35 year old mother to 3 children ages 8, 6 and 4 and wife to a physician in training (he is a first year resident right now). We seem to live to the beat of our own drummer around here, but rest assured there is a lot of effort behind the scenes going on to keep us pointing heavenward.

Like you, I'm sure, I'm full of flaws. I choose to live my life with hope, strive to express joy, and work to live the faith I have come to love. Sometimes I succeed, mostly I fail. But, I hope you'll take some of the journey with me and let me share some of my ever-evolving life with you. I hope you will pull up a chair, a cup of coffee and come and visit often.
